Elliman manages Harlem Irving Plaza and all of the community center properties for Harlem Irving Companies. He oversees the management, specialty leasing, marketing, operations, and administrations for the company.

Jim has over 18 years of experience in the shopping center industry. His background includes the management, and development, of various portfolios across the country. His career started in 1993 on the center management side for the Pyramid Companies in upstate New York. He then worked for General Growth Properties managing Steeplegate Mall, and Natick Mall in the Boston market. Staying with General Growth, he moved to Chicago and started in the development side of the shopping center business. His projects were in Texas, Louisiana and Arizona. As Vice President of development, his projects included Oakwood Mall redevelopment (Post Hurricane Katrina), Town East Mall renovation (Mesquite, TX), Mall of Louisiana lifestyle and power center expansion (Baton Rougue, LA). In addition, he completed an anchor store conversion to a big box store concept at the Parks at Arlington (Arlington, TX).

Most recently, Mr. Elliman managed community and lifestyle centers for Developers Diversified Realty, focusing on flagship property Deer Park Town Center in Deer Park, IL.

Prior to entering the shopping center industry, Jim was an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps serving in Operation Desert Storm. He has a B.A. in Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University.
