Vince G. Forgione, CPA

Vice President of Finance

As Vice President of Finance for The Harlem Irving Companies, Inc., Vince G. Forgione is responsible for the preparation and analysis of development budgets and income projections, assisting the CFO in obtaining both construction and permanent financing, as well as construction accounting and reporting.


Prior to joining The Harlem Irving Companies, Inc., Forgione obtained a diverse knowledge of real estate working for New Frontier Companies. During his 29 years at New Frontier, beginning as an Accounting Manager, and ending as President of the Development Division, Forgione’s experience included: financial preparation and reporting to ownership and regulatory agencies; implementing several accounting software programs; management of a variety of staff (accounting, construction, warranty, and property management); financing and refinancing of commercial, retail, and residential properties; negotiating sales of properties; structuring exit strategies for limited partners; advising ownership in real estate matters.

For the last fifteen years at New Frontier Companies, Forgione served as President of the Development Division primarily responsible for the development of the residential area of University Village located in the South Campus area of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

University Village consists of 900 private residences developed in a formerly blighted area of the city. Forgione’s involvement began with the planning of the entire South Campus area. Both New Frontier Companies and The Harlem Irving Companies were partners in this major redevelopment. Initially Forgione’s responsibilities included financial feasibility models but grew to full responsibility of managing the acquisition, design, marketing, financing, construction, sales, closing, and customer service.

Education & Accreditation

Forgione is a graduate of DePaul University. He is also a CPA and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He has served on various home owner association boards as well as his community youth organization board.
