Harlem Irving Plaza
The HIP is a 700,000 square foot enclosed regional shopping center on Chicago’s northwest side that caters to a trade area of 1.1 million people. The plaza features over 140 vibrant retailers plus a 350-seat food court and is the flagship center for Harlem Irving Companies.
Established as an open-air center in 1956, Harlem Irving Plaza has been expanded, enclosed and enhanced to become the area’s dominant shopping center. The 700,000 square-foot center is home to over 140 national, regional and local specialty retailers including anchor tenants Carson Pirie Scott, Kohl’s, Best Buy and Target, in addition to Aéropostale, PacSun, Zumiez, Express, Forever 21, Hot Topic, LensCrafters, Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret and New York & Company.
Since becoming a charter member of the International Council of Shopping Centers in 1957, Harlem Irving Plaza has continued to grow and expand both its facilities and its services.
